Vianet wins ‘Broadband Telecom Company of the Year ‘& the ‘Technology Innovation of the Year ‘in the Asian Telecom Awards 2024.

Vianet Communication Limited has won two titles,’Broadband Telecom Company of the Year’ and ‘Technology Innovation of the Year’ at the prestigious 2024 Asian Telecom Awards held in Singapore. Vianet was recognised for providing world class customer service and bringing new technology to the country as done with fiber, IPTV and, as of recently, XGS multi-gig fiber technology. The two awards are a testament to Vianet’s unwavering dedication to customer service, product quality and innovation.

The award ceremony, held on February 29th in Singapore, celebrated Vianet’s excellence alongside other ISPs and telecom companies from Nepal. Vianet emerged victorious, chosen by a distinguished panel of judges for its remarkable contributions and innovations. This marks the first time a fully Nepalese owned company has claimed such an honor in this category. Previously, in 2022, Ncell was the sole recipient from Nepal in the ‘Telecom Company of the Year’ category. This year amongst Vianet, there were other notalble winners such as Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. for Technology Innovation of the Year – China, Jio Platforms Ltd. for Telecom Company of the Year – India, Smart Axiata for B2B Client Initiative of the Year – Cambodia, Tata Communications Ltd for Digital Initiative of the Year – India
