Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong Communication and Organizational Skills:
- Effective communication is key in HR, and you should be able to interact clearly with both employees and potential candidates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be necessary for tasks like CV screening, conducting interviews, and managing employee records.
- Organizational skills are crucial to keep track of multiple tasks and deadlines, especially when dealing with employee documentation, scheduling interviews, and managing other administrative duties.
- Proficiency in MS Office:
- As an HR intern, you’ll be using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for various tasks.
- Proficiency in these tools will allow you to create reports, manage data, organize files, and communicate effectively within the team.
- A Proactive and Eager-to-Learn Attitude:
- We’re looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative in learning and improving.
- This role will provide you with the chance to gain hands-on experience in HR, and we want someone who is excited to contribute, ask questions, and develop their skills in the field.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle Employee Record and Documentation:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in organizing, filing, and managing confidential employee information, including contracts, performance reviews, and personal details.
- Help in preparing reports or summaries for HR-related data, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Assist in CV Screening and Phone Screening:
- Review and assess resumes and CVs for job openings, ensuring they align with the job description and requirements.
- Assist in the first phase of screening candidates by evaluating their qualifications and experience.
- Conduct initial phone interviews, asking basic screening questions to assess candidates’ suitability for the role and culture of the company.
- Help schedule interviews and follow up with candidates as needed.
- Assist in HR Operations:
- Support the HR team in various daily tasks, such as onboarding new employees, organizing training sessions, and assisting with employee benefits administration.
- Assist in handling employee queries regarding company policies, procedures, and other HR-related matters.
- Help prepare HR documents, such as offer letters, policy updates, and other communication for employees.
- Work alongside the HR team to ensure smooth operations of the HR department and support in any ongoing HR projects.
